夏季中午时候，十分炎热，头顶烈日的几个行人疲倦极了，看见一棵梧桐树，便走到树底下，躺在树荫下休息。他们仰望着阔大的树叶，彼此大发议论：「这树不能结果，对人没有甚么好处。」树回答说：「不知好歹的人们!你们现在正享受着我的恩惠，还说我是不结果的无用之树。」

这个故事带出的启示就是：有些人不知好歹，享受了别人的帮助，还要贬低别人。

梧桐树，“中国梧桐”是梧桐科梧桐属的植物、别名青桐、桐麻 ，也属落叶大乔木，高达15米;树干挺直，树皮绿色，平滑。原产中国，南北各省都有栽培。
